The 9k BTU unit features Resistive Electric Heat Only for heating cold air. This unit needs 208/230V and of electricity to work. This Unit operates quietly at all fan speeds thanks to its tangential fans. Freeze Protection can help prevent costs associated with freezing units and is included with this GE PTAC unit. These PTAC units will fit into an existing 42” by 16” wall sleeve and will require the purchase of a separate sleeve and exterior grille if being used in a new installation.
