This unit requires a outlet to be powered appropriately. To use this unit you will need to purchase an appropriate power cord which is sold separately. This Unit operates quietly at all 2 fan speeds thanks to its 2 tangential fans. Freeze Protection can help prevent costs associated with freezing units and is included with this Gree PTAC unit. These PTAC units will fit into an existing 42” by 16” wall sleeve and will require the purchase of a separate sleeve and exterior grille if being used in a new installation.
