In order to install this unit, you will need to purchase a power cord (sold separately). You will also need a outlet to power the unit. This unit’s 2 tangential fans produce near silent conditioned air for your space at all 2 speeds of motor operation. The Gree PTAC Unit includes built-in Freeze Protection to help prevent problems caused by freezing. All PTAC units are designed to fit into an existing 42” by 16” wall sleeve. However, if the unit is being used in a new installation will require the purchase of a wall sleeve and exterior grille.
